Artists of the Month

Display Case Artist - Suzanne Weil

Suzanne Weil makes functional stoneware pottery in her studio in Sandwich and teaches first-year writing classes at Plymouth State. Her appreciation of the simplicity and integrity of pots made for everyday use inspires her work. She is in the process of building a wood-fired kiln, a resource she looks forward to sharing through community firings and workshops. Suzanne teaches individual wheel-throwing classes at her home studio and a handbuilt platter and plate workshop in July through the Sandwich Home Industries.
